How to choose a food photography backdrop

Vinyle mat or Flat mat: flexible or rigid?

Every design comes in both materials: pick the design, then the material.

• Vinyle mat: a flexible, smooth PVC, shipped rolled, with a grey back.
• Flat mat: a rigid 3 mm PVC board, printed on one side, that stores flat against a wall or on a shelf.

Both surfaces are matte and glare-free, and clean with soap and water.

Our four design families

• Wood: from weathered white wood to dark wood, with light, brown and grey woods in between.
• Concrete & stone: light grey or charcoal concrete, beige stone, travertine, rusted metal, cracked earth.
• Marble & tiles: white or black marble, white tiles and cement tiles.
• Textures & plain colours: from powder pink to midnight blue, sage green, gold, black and paint effects.

Size, price and shipping

All our food backdrops are 60 × 90 cm. Vinyle mat €49, Flat mat €59. Shipping €15 to France and the EU, within 10 to 12 working days.

Designs are created in France by the Colors&Drops photographers and printed to order in Europe, with solvent-free, water-based and plant-latex inks.
